Race lovers will be well aware of the horrific fall at Clifford Park on New Years Eve which saw Kristy Banks sustain serious injuries. Obviously, our thoughts are with Kristy and her family and all are hoping and preying for a full recovery.

 Obviously, there are enormous medical costs involved and a group of Race Lovers have prepared a Lucky Draw with all proceeds going to Kristy Bank’s recovery.

 The prize will be a trip for 2 people to the Super Saturday of racing at Flemington on March 10 which features the Dubai Australia Cup and the Lexus Newmarket Handicap.

 The winner will receive:

 * Return Flights for 2 people to Melbourne.

* 2 nights at the Victoria Hotel in Melbourne courtesy Victoria Hotel.

* Reserved Dining package for 2 people in the Panorama Room in the Hill Stand at Flemington.

* Guided Tour of Flemington Racecourse (both courtesy of VRC).

* $1,000 Tote win bet on the horse of your choice in the Dubai Australia Cup courtesy of Tatts Bet.

 Tickets will be $10 each and they will be sold in books of 10.

 A book buyer’s incentive prize of a $500 bet on the horse of your choice in the Lexus Newmarket Handicap courtesy of 5 Downs Bookmakers is available for those who purchase a full book of tickets.

Go As You Please Flemington Packages 2012

Goondiwindi Travel Centre is proud to confirm that we have recently been accredited as an official VRC supplier.

With this in mind, we have arranged a number of “Go as you Please” type tours that will enable passengers to enjoy Flemington at its finest from the magnificent Dining Room Package– The Panorama Room at the top level of Hill Stand. Depending on numbers, passengers may have to share a table with other passengers.

 A tour of the grounds and the Heritage centre is also included.

 As normal, we stay at The VictoriaHotel and Breakfast daily is included. The “Go as you Please” option allows passengers the opportunity to book on the heavily discounted airfares that are currently being offered and extra nights are available on application.

 Please note, all rooms at theVictoriaHotel are now non smoking rooms.
